Wide Receiver Rankings

  2. Mike Wallace vs. BAL 15pts
  3. Wes Welker  vs. NYG 14pts
  4. Roddy White @ IND 14pts
  5. Colston vs. TB 13pts
  6. Nicks (Q) @ NE 12pts

  9. DeSean or Macklin vs. CHI 11pts
  10. Boldin @ PIT 10pts

WEEK 8 WR’s

Not having any of GB receivers starting this week may hurt some teams out there.

  1. C. Johnson @ DEN  20 pts
  2. Wes Welker @ PIT  19 pts
  3. M. Wallace vs. NE 18 pts (on three receptions, probably)  Add Antonio Brown if you havent yet.
  4. Colston  @ StL  15 pts
  5. Nicks vs. MIA  15 pts
  6. Smith vs. MIN  14 pts
  7. Bowe vs. SD  13 pts
  8. Austin @ PHI 12 pts
  9. Fitzgerald @ BAL 12 pts (maybe…BAL’s defense is going to be playing with hair on fire)
  10. Steve Johnson, VJax, & Aj Green should all put up 11 points this week.

WEEK 7 WR’s

After seeing GB against StL last week, you’ve got to love Miles Austin, Dez Bryant, and the slew of other DAL receivers.  Im starting Dez without question over Roddy White & Vincent Jackson.

  1. Calvin Johnson topping the list.  He’ll grab 2 TD’s to make up for last week.  21 points
  2. Greg Jennings had 8 catches last week, but Nelson & Jones had the big plays/TD’s.  Expect 16 points from Gennings.
  3. Mike Wallace has been wonderful in putting up huge yards with minimal receptions.  14 points
  4. Dez Bryant & Austin Miles fall in here with 13 to 15 points each.
  5. Steve Smith with 13 points
  6. Marques Colston with 13 points
  7. Vincent Jackson with 12 points
  8. Larry Fitzgerald with 11 points
  9. Roddy White with 10 points
  10. On a limb, but I like Brandon Marshall to catch a pass this week/10 points.

WEEK 6 WR’s

  1. Calvin Johnson (because he is absolutely killing it: 9 TD’s through 5 weeks)
  2. Greg Jennings
  3. Wes Welker
  4. Mike Wallace
  5. Roddy White (Tony Gonzales should be huge without Julio Jones)
  6. Steve Smith
  7. Hakeem Nicks (I hope)
  8. Miles Austin/Dez Bryant
  9. DeSean Jackson
  10. Pierre Garcon (?) can you believe it?  But, he has earned it with another huge performance last week against KC.  Kudos to Dwayne Bowe for outperforming after not making the list last week.

Week 5:  Top Ten WR’s

  1. Calvin Johnson (17)
  2. Wes Welker (16)
  3. Larry Fitz (14)
  4. V JAX (13.5)
  5. Jennings (12.2)
  6. Hakeem Nicks (12)
  7. Steve Smith (12)
  8. Mike Wallace (11.9)
  9. Steve Johnson (11.3)
  10. Roudy Roddy (10.5)

Week 4: Most of the receiver options out there may not have an immediate impact like Torrey Smith or Victor Cruz had last week.  But, the bye weeks are approaching fast and there are a few guys with favorable matchups that can help carry your team through.

  1. Mario Manningham/NYG:  Once he’s cleared he’ll be back to putting up 60 & 1 TD
  2. David Nelson/BUF:  Facing a rough stretch of defenses, but that could work in his favor with the better corners covering the top-end Buffalo receivers (sounds so strange to say “TOP END” & Buffalo)
  3. Brandon Gibson/STL:  He’s quickly becoming who we all thought Sims-Walker was going to be
  4. Mohamed Massaquoi or Josh Cribbs/CLE: Week 6 to 12 are all favorable matchups for both of these receivers.  They just need Hillis back to keep the DBs honest.
  5. Antonio Brown/PIT:  He is the ONLY receiver Rothlisberger throws to on third & long and he’s averaging 70+ yds returning.
  6. Andre Caldwell or Jerome Simpson/CIN: Favorable matchups, but lacking a little something.  Simpson cant catch the ball while wearing handcuffs and Caldwell has baby’s ankles.
  7. Preston Parker/TB:  Add him right now or hate yourself later.  He’s about to do what Smith & Cruz did last week.  Truth!  Expect a “Decker-like” performance against IND on MNF.

Now, go get your WR flex and be ready for the bye weeks

Peace
